Coating Removal

Our high and ultra high pressure coating removal tools, will remove external contrete weightcoat and protective
coatings quickly and efficiently, replacing existing labour intensive operations. All systems are operated remotely, and can be applied topside as well as subsea, leaving surfaces with a SA2 finish to allow effective inspection with a variety of NDT techniques. All tooling covering pipe sizes ranging from 8" to 49" can be deployed by a vessel crane or winch wire. Alternatively a range of smaller, remotely operated and hand held tooling is available for other pipe sizes.

Low Pressure Air/Grit Cleaning Tools

Proserv’s low pressure cleaning system, Indepth, provides fast and efficient cleaning operations which prepares surfaces to a SA2.5 finish for a range of subsea inspection procedures. By using dry grit, rather than slurry, the Indepth reduces the hose weight and also eliminates potential clogging.

Specialist Services

Our 2500bar ultra high pressure Spiderjet surface preparation system is capable of removing coatings from vertical, inclined and horizontal surfaces. It leaves the substrate to a NACE recognised finish, for the application of surface tolerant coatings.

The unit is attached to the work surface by vacuum force and can be pneumatically or hydraulically driven. A rotating rim seal in conjunction with twin drives enables total manoeuvrability. The vacuum also allows for the retrieval of all waste and removed solids which can then be filtered, treated and removed with full consideration to the environment. To complement our pump fleet we have various semi and fully automated accessories which ensure a safe and cost effective solution to all surface preparation projects.

Pump Services

The Proserv hire fleet consists of both onshore trailer mounted and offshore containerised Zone I & II units c/w accessories. Combining the power of our 3000 bar units with our wide range of accessories makes large scale projects simple and quick.

Our UHP systems produce a substrate finish to SA2 & WJ3 standards, using only water. Additionally, with the introduction of garnet through our TABS system, the result is an enhanced surface profile to SA2.5. There are a number of specialised accessories to complement our UHP jetting units, these allow various coatings, corrosion and composites to be removed economically with minimum impact to the environment.

Cold Cutting Technology

To complement our Water Abrasive cutting systems, we also have a wide range of mechanical cutting solutions that include hydraulic saws, friction disc cutters, diamond wire cutting systems, shears and milling machines. Through our extensive experience in the cutting marketplace we can provide a tailormade package which can cut a wide range of material from standard steel pipe to super duplex stainless steel to composite flexible riser.

UHP & HP Water Abrasive

We are international leaders in waterabrasive cutting technology which, as well as being potentially the safest cutting system available, is also harmless to the marine environment. This cutting method is ideally suited to a wide range of projects - for example, for the removal of structures and wellheads during the decommissioning phase, as well as for bespoke cutting solutions for the inspection, maintenance and repair of existing oil and gas production facilities.
